Starting pitcher Alfredo Simon will have tommy john surgery on his arm and will be out at least a year. This is a tough loss to an already thin O's rotation.
....This seems to open up a permanent spot in the rotation for Brad Bergesen if he can build off his impressive first start. Let the time of the O's young guns begin.

ReplyDeleteBlog is looking good. Any chance you feel like taking up writing a Nationals blog, too? The only ones I can find are written by people who, I have to assume, actually hate the nationals. It seems you have managed to make a blog about the O's, depressing as it is to be a fan, with something of an optimistic to objective approach. I would love to find a Nats blog like this.

Jimbo I would be all about it, but I have found that making a news blog like this is fairly time consuming. I dont think I could take on another blog right now. Maybe we could tag team a nats blog together, we can talk bout it on draft day.
