O's hot early but fall late

Well the O's got out to an early 4-0 lead, but gave it all back and ended up losing 6-4 to the Texas Rangers last night at Camden Yards. With the loss the O's have fallen two games under .500.

The Good....
  • Jeremy Guthrie was better than his last start, but still not great as he threw just over a 100 pitches in only 5 innings.
  • Chris Ray has now not allowed a run in his last six appearances (5 and 2/3 innings)
  • The O's got on the board early which is always a good thing.

The Bad....

  • Matt Albers struggled badly letting up 3 runs in only 2/3's of an inning.
  • The O's offense went to sleep after the second inning and at one point Rangers pitcher Matt Harrison, owner of a 7.89 ERA and a WHIP over 2, retired 16 straight O's.

....rough game last night that's for sure. Lets see if Adam Eaton can build off his strong start against the White Sox as he gets the start tonight. For any of you who have been disappointed with the lack of posts the lasts few days I apologize. Between the NFL draft and being under the weather I wasn't able to.
